The Quran mentions in Surah Adh-Dhariyat (51:47): 'And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander.' This verse directly refers to the expansion of the universe, a concept that was only discovered by modern science in the 20th century when Edwin Hubble observed that galaxies are moving away from each other. This scientific fact, unknown at the time of the Quran's revelation, aligns perfectly with our current understanding of cosmology and the Big Bang theory.
